My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful senior boy is Laroyce!

Laroyce was adopted from us in 2010 and returned a few months ago when his owners fell on hard times. When he got to us it was apparent that he had some medical issues to address. He was suffering from dental disease and also had Hyperthyroidism. Since being in our care he has received a dental procedure and also a thyroidectomy. He has recovered from his procedure and is ready to find a loving home to live out his golden years!

Laroyce is a sweet and quiet boy who loves to nap. We think that he would be the perfect couch potato to add to your home!

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
