Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There is so much to love about this bubbly bunny!
Peewee is affectionate and will make a great friend to whoever adopts him. He adores snuggles and even enjoys being held when the time is right! After a meal or a good treat, Peewee rests his head on his foster mom’s lap and takes a quick nap as she scratches his cheeks. He greets her with binkies and excitement, running circles and figure-eights around his pen. To Peewee, nothing is better than the company of his human friend. Well, except for food; Peewee LOVES food.
Peewee had a tough life before good Samaritans brought him to PARL. He arrived very underweight with matted, urine-stained fur. With love, patient grooming and lots of good food, Peewee has gained several pounds, and his hair has grown back entirely. He's continuing to gain weight and grow into a healthier bunny, and needs a special adopter who can help him continue along the right track.
Peewee is very playful and loves his toys. No matter how large or heavy the object is, he will throw his toys and rearrange his pen; he’ll even throw toys back to you if you toss them near. He has experience with young children, respectful of animal behaviors and boundaries. He plays with them and enjoys their attention. He can be nippy if certain routines around food aren’t followed or if he just really wants your attention. He isn't aggressive, rarely kicks or grunts, but he can be demanding — he’s full of personality!
Peewee is a very busy, social bunny, looking for a home where he can spend time out of his pen running, hopping, exploring and snuggling. He benefits from puzzle toys, foraging toys and other enriching activities that keep him entertained.
Peewee doesn't have much experience with other animals. Being such a social and confident bunny, it’s possible that he’d live well with another rabbit if bonding is done carefully.
**Peewee is currently in one of our loving foster homes! If you are interested in meeting Peewee, please complete an Adopter Profile form at www.parl.org/adopt and email gdelbonis@parl.org!**

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
