Meet Emma!
Emma and her sister, Abby found themselves alone and mournful after their previous owner sadly passed. Now, Emma is ready to find herself a family! Emma is just a big, happy pup! She loves to give hugs and is very gentle when doing so! Emma is a goofy girl. She carries her leash around and walks herself! Playful, silly, and lovable are a few words we would use to describe Emma. When Emma isn't playing with a squeaky toy, she can be found snuggled up with her sister, Abby! Emma does well with other dogs, and we would recommend her new home to have a doggy playmate for her. She has done well around cats. If Emma is the girl for you, (and maybe Abby too!) please fill out an application today!

Emma is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
