Watch out, New York! Queen Iduna has arrived and her royal cuteness demands your attention. Queen Iduna is a 1.5 year-old and 45-pound lab mix. Queen Iduna is near-perfection! She hasn't had any accidents in her foster home and is a pro at hanging out in her crate. As a girl of both beauty and brains, Queen Iduna is a very fast learner. While this silly girl is an eager walker, she is already responding to gentle nudges from her foster mom (and even looks back to make sure foster mom is still there...does it get any cuter than that?!). Queen Iduna will thrive in a home that is active and wants to continue to flex her quick wits.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
