Luigi was in the den. Slightly shy, but allowed and then enjoyed petting, leaning in for cheek rubs, and sniffing treats. She was partially coaxed out of the den using squeeze up, stretching her head out as far as it would go without actually climbing out. She continued to enjoy petting and leaning in for cheek rubs throughout the assessment, but she couldn't be coaxed fully out of the den. Once the door was shut she came out on her own and ate the squeeze up, then retreated back inside the den.

Luigi interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
