My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Cletus. I may be a senior, but I've got plenty of love to give. I'm a mellow fellow who appreciates the simpler things in life, like a cozy lap to curl up on or a gentle hand to stroke my fur. I'm quite the smarty pants too, I quickly figured out where all the best nap spots are around here. My size just means there's more of me to love, and boy do I love attention! I'm pretty independent, but I'll never say no to a good cuddle. I'm the perfect companion for someone who wants a low-key, affectionate friend. Adopt me and let's make some sweet memories together.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
