Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there! You might not know me yet, but by the end of this bio, I really hope you will be my best friend, and maybe even my new adoptive parent. My name is Faith, and I am a spirited 1-year-old ready to find my forever home.
My name is Faith and I am 1-year-old. I came to the rescue after they pulled me from the euthanasia list at a local shelter (thankfully). While I might have had a bit of an attitude with some of the staff, it turns out I was just a bit overwhelmed by the other cats. Sometimes, I wish humans could read my mind!
I’m beyond grateful to my foster mom for giving me the chance to blossom and reveal my true colors. I am a super chatty girl who loves to engage in conversations with my human. There's nothing better than rubbing up against my foster mom and finding the coziest spot on her lap. She can scoop me up and carry me around.
The only thing I ask is to be your one and only kitty—trust me, I've got enough personality to keep you entertained all by myself!
I can’t wait to meet you! It fills my heart with joy to feel safe and begin to understand what it truly means to be loved. I have a sneaky suspicion that my forever family is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to find out who you are!
Faith is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
