Nala and Simba are a bonded pair of siblings who are looking for their forever home together. They have been inseparable since birth and share a special bond that shines through in their interactions with each other and with their human companions.
Nala may be shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she is a devoted and affectionate companion. She enjoys lounging during the day but loves to be around her family in the afternoon and evening. Nala will show her affection by sitting or laying with you on the couch, rubbing against your leg at meal times, and snuggling up with you at night, purring contentedly as she seeks your love and attention. She is a gentle and loving kitty who thrives on companionship and cuddles.
Simba is also initially shy but quickly opens up to adults and children alike. He is a kind and independent soul who enjoys the presence of people. Simba will happily lounge on the couch with you during the day and keep you company by curling up at the end of the bed at night. He is a loyal companion who craves the love and attention of his family.
If you are looking for a pair of loving and affectionate feline companions to join your family, Nala and Simba would be the perfect addition! Adopting these two beautiful souls will bring double the joy, love, and companionship into your life.
Nala & Simba are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
