My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Selma! 🐾

This light brown bundle of joy is ready to fill your heart with sweetness and your home with her shy-but-sassy personality! At just a year and a half, Selma is the perfect age to be playful, cuddly, and a little bit on the bashful side—she’s like that friend who’s super fun once you get to know her, but takes a little while to warm up.

Selma loves belly rubs, snacks (who doesn’t?), and pretending she’s a professional napper (even though she's not actually pretending.) She’s an expert at making you feel like the most important person in the room, even if she’s still practicing her “meeting new people” skills. Don’t be surprised if she gives you the “I’m shy but secretly love you” side-eye.

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
