I’m rehoming my 5.5-year-old dog, Maple, who I adopted from the Humane Society of North Florida. She’s a loving, food-motivated dog who enjoys cuddles and is very curious. Maple is working on her reactivity with a trainer, but she still needs a patient owner who can give her more time and attention than I can as a college student. I didn’t realize how much time, energy, and resources it takes to care for her, and I feel bad being gone most of the day. Maple deserves more than I can provide. She’s great with people and loves being close to her family. She’s best suited for someone with the time to work on her training and provide her with lots of love and care. Maple would do well in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods and can get the mental and physical stimulation she needs.
