My name is Michael!

Michael is a lab retriever/terrier mix who is about 5 months old. He was acquired 1 month ago from a shelter in the west Chicagoland area. His number 1 personality trait is being social. He is full of energy and joy throughout all moments of the day. Michael loves going on long walks and meeting new people. He is also mostly trained both inside and outside the house. He knows sit extremely well and will let us know he needs to go outside to go to the bathroom by bringing us our shoes or ringing bells by the front door. He never barks or growls at people, and only rarely does so with other with other animals (squirrels and birds, not other dogs). He does very well with other dogs and plays well with them. Michael loves getting to know new people and loves giving them kisses. He loves playing fetch with some of his favorite toys like frisbees, tennis balls and kong toys. Michael is intelligent and a quick learner, learning sit and leave it within the first 3 weeks we've him
