Meet little Miss Queen Cora- a stunning long-haired kitty with gorgeous green eyes and the fluffiest black and white coat you’ve ever seen! Cora may be shy at first–but truly craves attention, play time, and love. Once you earn Cora’s trust–with gentle pets and lots of wet food– she will reward you with her sweet vocal trills and purrs. Cora’s soft meows let you know when she wants attention or would like to sit on her primary human’s lap (her throne) to get pets in a calm setting.

Queen Cora is just that, a queen, and will become the royal member of your household in no time. Her highness needs a home where she will be the only child–human or otherwise to settle in her kingdom. She does not get along with other cats and can be fearful of children.

This lovely lady has some trauma in her past which has made her slow to trust humans. She is looking for a dedicated cat parent with a quiet home who can be patient while she learns who you are and builds that trust with you. She needs an understanding parent who can appreciate her occasional bursts of energy; she’s only middle-aged after all! Not all of her youth is behind her.

With time and patience, Queen Cora’s charm and resilience shine through and she will become the sweetest and most loyal four-legged companion ever. Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
