Bentley is an adorable 8-week-old puppy weighing just 7 pounds, and he’s as sweet as can be. This easygoing little guy loves to be held and snuggled, often curling up under your chin for extra cuddles. He’s crate trained at night and never has accidents, and he’s doing great with potty training, using training pads when outside of his crate. Bentley enjoys bursts of running and playtime but will often sit quietly to observe other dogs, which he does calmly and contentedly. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, and he recently discovered his bark, which is hilariously cute. While he’s still learning to love the leash, he’s perfectly happy to be carried on walks, especially with a doggy friend nearby. Bentley thrives on routine—waking up, eating, playing for an hour, and then napping like clockwork. He absolutely loves car rides, bully sticks, toys, and, of course, food. Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

We are the Burlington County Animal Alliance (BCAA)located in Central New Jersey. We are a non-profit organization 501(3)(c), all volunteer rescue that saves animals from our local shelter and surrounding areas of New Jersey that are in danger of being euthanized. We take them into our program, get them the necessary medical care they need and adopt them back out to loving forever homes. We have 60 volunteers, many that open their homes to foster the homeless animals, we do fundraisers to raise money so we can continue to save the dogs and cats in need. We run strictly on donations from our adoptions and people who support our work.BCAA adopts to families in New Jersey, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York.
