My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet SWEET, SWEET PAMELA ♥‍

There’s truly no better word to describe her—Pamela is as sweet as they come. This beautiful, gentle soul started her journey in a kill shelter at just 10 months old. Terrified and heartbroken, she buried her face in the corner of her kennel, wishing to disappear. Thanks to kind volunteers and a loving foster home Pamela was saved just 4 minutes before her scheduled euthanasia.

—> Since then, this incredible girl has blossomed into a loving, loyal companion. Pamela is the perfect work-from-home buddy, happily resting at her foster’s feet during meetings and playing in the yard between calls. She loves her crate—it’s her safe space—and she’s housebroken, too!

Pamela is still discovering the world, and with support and patience, she lights up more each day. Whether cuddling up next to you, playing with other dogs, or bringing you her favorite toy, her personality shines brighter with every moment.

Approx. 1 year old, 33 lbs
Crate trained & housebroken
Dog & cat friendly
Submissive, gentle, & sweet
Loves quiet spaces or fenced yards (not required)
Spayed, vaccinated, & microchipped

Open your heart and home to Pamela, she’ll reward you with unconditional love and devotion

PS - Please keep in mind, our bio's are based on feedback we have received from the current foster home the dog is in. We can never guarantee how a transition will affect the dog. GBP is here to help make the transition as easy as possible but time + patience are also important when adopting a new PAL. Breed Mixes & Ages are a best guess and can not be guaranteed**

More about this rescue

The Gals Best Pal Rescue Mission is to be a voice for the voiceless as it advocates for the dogs in its care while finding them safe, suitable, caring homes. The organization works with likeminded partners across the country and throughout the state of Massachusetts to rescue unwanted animals experiencing neglect, abuse, homelessness or at risk of euthanasia. The rescue also strives to make a difference for many unwanted dogs from different unfortunate situations. It does this by providing nurturing foster homes, promoting the importance of responsible dog ownership and, most importantly, spaying and neutering every dog that comes through the rescue as it aims to cut back on the overpopulation crisis occurring in many shelters and rescues across the nation.
