Meet Liza, a stunning 6-month-old Border Collie/Lab mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! This fun-loving girl is always ready for an adventure and will bring so much joy to her forever home. Liza’s favorite place to be is the dog park, where she can zoom around and play with her canine friends. Her energy and playfulness are contagious, making her the life of the party wherever she goes! After a day of fun, Liza is happy to settle down for cuddles and soak up all the love and attention you can give. Because of her energy, Liza would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play safely. She’s the perfect age for training and eager to learn, making her a wonderful addition to an active and loving family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to join your adventures and brighten your days, Liza is the one for you. Apply to adopt Liza at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and fall in love!

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
