Hello there! My name is Mirae, which means “future” in Korean—how fitting since I’m all about looking forward to a bright, happy future with you! My journey started in a new apartment complex in 2023, where kind rescuers found me. I spent over a year in a shelter, but that time has helped me blossom into the friendly, smart, and affectionate girl I am today.

People say I’m a natural charmer—I love everyone I meet! Whether you’re a stranger or a long-time friend, I’ll greet you with a wagging tail and a warm heart. If you’re looking for a dog who’ll show you love without overwhelming you, I’m your perfect match.
Oh, and kids? I haven’t had much experience with little ones yet, but I’m so gentle and loving that I’m sure we’ll get along just fine with a little time to adjust.
I also have a beautiful, silky coat that’s soft to the touch—you won’t be able to resist petting me, and I’ll gladly soak up all the love you give.
I’m not just cute, though. I’m also smart—really smart! I learned to sit almost immediately, and I’m eager to learn even more. Whether it’s new tricks, routines, or fun games, I’m ready to show off how clever I am.

I love going outside! Every walk is a new adventure, full of interesting scents and exciting sights. Since I haven’t had many walks outside the shelter before, I sometimes pause to take in all the new smells, but I follow my human’s lead beautifully. I don’t pull on the leash—no tug-of-war here!
With a bit of patience, I’ll become your perfect walking buddy, happy to explore your neighborhood or enjoy a quiet stroll.
🏠Life At Home🏠
When I’m not out on a walk, I’m happiest spending time with my humans. I’m affectionate and calm, and I’ll happily share quiet moments at home with you. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch or relaxing at your feet, I’ll always make you feel loved.
If I could choose my perfect home, it would be one where someone is around for most of the day. I love being close to people, and while I haven’t shown signs of separation anxiety, I’m such a people-loving pup that I think I’d thrive in a home where I don’t spend too much time alone.
I also get along wonderfully with other dogs! I’m currently staying with a smaller dog friend, and we have so much fun playing together. I’ll always be respectful of my furry friends, but when I find a playmate who’s as gentle and sweet as me, it’s pure joy!
