Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $275 + taxes
Location: Foster Home
Darcy is a delightful kitten with a perfect blend of playful energy and gentle sweetness. While she’s a little shy at first, her warm and loving personality shines through once she feels comfortable. She’s great with children and enjoys their company, making her a wonderful addition to a family home.
Darcy is still getting used to being held, but she absolutely loves being petted and will happily soak up all the affection you have to offer. With her kind heart and curious spirit, Darcy is ready to find a forever family who will help her build confidence and provide lots of love.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion, Darcy is the perfect fit!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
