Meet Gus, a handsome 6-month-old Border Collie/Lab mix who is bursting with friendliness and love! Gus has a happy, playful personality and a big heart that’s ready to bond with his forever family. He loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four, and he’ll be your loyal companion for every adventure. Gus is the perfect age for training and already shows signs of being a quick learner—his Border Collie smarts paired with Lab sweetness make him a wonderful mix of brains and affection. He enjoys playing outside, going for walks, and then settling in for cuddles at the end of the day. This lovable pup would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. Are you ready to make this friendly, loving boy a part of your family? Adopt Gus today!
Gus' adoption fee is $60.00 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
