Why I need a new home

Fostered

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willie Nelson is tired of living life on the road and needs a new home! Willie is the sweetest boy and wants only a warm spot next to his person. If you’re looking for the ultimate lap cat, Willie is it!

Willie showed up in a managed feral colony, starved, and looking for affection. He quickly adapted to living in an enclosed area and had excellent litter box manners. We believe Willie is approximately 3 years old.

Willie has been tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). He was negative for FeLV but positive for FIV, which is transmitted by deep bite wounds. What does this mean for Willie? He can still live a normal life but should be in a stable, low stress home. He can live with other cats provided that there is no serious fighting.
