My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ziggy, our 5-year-old bundle of joy! This pint size fella has lived his whole life in a home with three other chihuahuas. Unfortunately to mom's great sadness, her special needs son doesn't want dogs and has become a danger to them, so the pups need to be rehomed.

Ziggy is neutered, microchipped, and full of life with endless energy to share. He loves kids and other dogs. Ziggy a true people-pleaser and has perfected the art of showering you with love—he'll give you all the kisses and affection you can handle! The moment he sees you, he’ll spin in circles and show just how much he adores you. He's a true romantic at heart, and you’ll never doubt that he loves you—he makes sure of that every single day!

If Ziggy sounds like a good fit for you, please apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. He can't wait to become apart of your world!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
