My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Hooch!**

Hooch is a happy-go-lucky, 5-month-old Wheaten Terrier puppy mix looking for his forever home! This energetic boy has an abundance of energy and loves to play, especially with other dogs. If you're searching for a playful and active companion, Hooch might just be the perfect fit!

**About Hooch:**
- **Activity Level:** Hooch loves to play and explore! Whether it's chasing toys, splashing in the water, or going for walks, he's always up for fun.
- **Social Butterfly:** While still a little shy, Hooch greets visitors with curiosity and is learning to be more confident every day.
- **Food Motivated:** Treats are the way to Hooch’s heart, making him eager to learn and train.
- **Potty Training:** Hooch is working hard on his potty training and making great progress.
- **Children:** Hooch hasn’t been exposed to kids yet, so he’d thrive in a home where introductions can be done slowly if needed.
- **Dog-Friendly:** Hooch loves other dogs and would do great in a home with a playful pup sibling to help show him the ropes.

Hooch is the perfect mix of playful and loving. With continued training, patience, and lots of love, he’s sure to grow into an amazing family dog. If you’re ready to welcome this sweet, water-loving pup into your home, apply to adopt him today!

Hooch will reach approximately 30 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.

Adoption fee is: $500

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
