My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Claire is a tiny girl with a sweet voice. She is affectionately called “Claire-bear” by her foster mom because she is cute and cuddly. Claire would be very happy to curl up with you to watch a movie or simply get a pat on the head as you walk by. She loves to be talked to and talks back softly. If you are looking for a loving companion, she is perfect for you!
Claire has limited vision due to a condition called microphthalmia. She would enjoy a quiet home without small children or other animals that could be aggressive. She does not mind dogs and will tolerate other cats who don’t mind her, after she gets to know them.
Claire is not special needs at this time, outside occasional eye drops. However, we predict that she will completely lose her sight someday. If you are not familiar with sight-limited kitties, they can lead full, happy, lives once they are acclimated to their environment.

More about this rescue

Our central mission is to rescue and rehabilitate cats and kittens that have been neglected, abandoned, abused, and/or suffer from debilitating medical conditions. Not only do we strive to rescue as many at-risk felines as possible, but to also educate and encourage local communities to join our rescue efforts.

Community Cats Central AR has grown from a one-bedroom foster into a network of fosters and volunteers specializing in neonatal kittens, senior cats, special needs cats, hospice cats, and injured cats/kittens in critical condition. All of our rescues are spayed/neutered and fully vetted prior to adopting them to loving homes.
