Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bo-Bo is very sweet and eager to please 2 year old boy. You’ll fall in love with his soulful eyes and sweet spirit. He was originally found lingering on a school property, caught and then taken to the shelter. After two weeks there he caught a cold and was put on the Euthanasia list because of it, that is when we had a foster step up to save his life. Due to this start, he’s really just learning how to be a family member.
He plays well with his foster brother dog, but can be somewhat dominant. He definitely thinks he’s top dog!! Bo-Bo is fully house trained and has had no accidents while being fostered, but he does have constant access to a doggie door. Bo-Bo isn’t bad on a leash, however he can get overly excited when he sees cats, some dogs, and younger children. He loves cuddling up close in bed with his human. He’s working on his eating manners, as he likes to scarf down food like he’s afraid someone’s gonna take it from him. Bo-Bo will do best in a home with a yard, as he loves to run and play fetch, probably best with no children, no cats. He also could do well either as the only dog, or with a dog who is tolerant of his playful energy which may slow down a little since he was just neutered. He’s a truly precious little guy who deserves his own wonderful family to give all of his love to.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
