Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Arlo! He is young and eager to explore and have all the fun that's meant to be had, he also has the cutest little grin. Arlo is an active guy and is likely going to enjoy a routine that includes plenty of exercise and fun puzzle toys to stimulate his young mind. Arlo has enjoyed opportunities for casual recreation with other playful dogs, but he is recommended to live in a home without other canines due to guarding behavior around his favorite toys and rawhide chews.
He's a good walker, knows sit and shake, and takes treats gently. And taking his time to sniff may be the name of his game!
We're betting he would love an outdoorsy family or a family that enjoys spending quality time playing with or teaching their dog fun skills! Arlo will only be rehomed to a family with children 10 or older and without cats. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 48.4 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
