Little Laverne was found on her own outdoors, trying to get by on the discards of humans to stay alive.  She had her siblings, but no steady resources, and she was doomed to a short life of litter after litter of short-lived kittens.  We had to step in and break that cycle.  Laverne was fully vetted and vaccinated, and as we were treating her for a simple kitty cold, it became clear that she could have a better life as a pet.  She is slow to warm up, but she responds to gentle attention.  Would you like to give her a chance to have a real home?  

• Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus  
• Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) 
• Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)  
• Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment 
• Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions 
• Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
