My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5665234 Meet Bruno , a 1-year-1-month-old terrier with the cutest tuft of scruff and a mustached face that will melt your heart! His unique oreo coat features a white stripe up his nose and forehead, with adorable cookies-and-cream spots on his legs. Bruno is very scared at the shelter, so he doesn't show his true personality in his kennel—often hiding under the bed because he's feeling overwhelmed. However, once he's out and with his people, he’s a different dog—curious, brave, and ready to explore! He loves to sniff around and investigate his surroundings, whatever they are. With the classic puppy attitude, Bruno is wide-eyed and eager to discover the world around him, but he’ll especially thrive in a calm, gentle home where he can decompress and learn to trust. With plenty of patience and lots of love, Bruno will blossom into a sweet and affectionate cuddlebug. Consider making this easy investment today, and you’ll easily be rewarded with a lifetime of loving and loyal companionship!

  • 1 year 1 month black and white terrier mix - exact breed mix unknown, maybe terrier and German Wirehaired Pointer?

  • 15 pound neutered male

  • Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today!

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 11/21/24 as a stray

  • adorable little tuft of scruff

  •  cute mustache face and oreo coat with a white stripe up his nose and forehead and cookies and cream spots on his legs

  • very scared at the shelter, so doesn't show well in his kennel - you may find him hiding under the bed because he's so scared

  • does SO much better once he's out of his kennel and comfortable with his people - loves to sniff around and explore

  •  classic puppy attitude - wide eyed little guy that's intimidated in the shelter and would benefit from a calm and gentle home to decompress and blossom into his best self

  • Will likely need all the basic puppy training, including leash skills and potty training

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
