My name is Fox and I'm a male Silky Terrier. I'm 2 yrs old and I weigh 5 lbs. I'm tan in color. I'm up to date on all my shots and I'm neutered. I was 4DX tested and was negative.

I'm housetrained and crate trained. I am good with other dogs, cats, but NO SMALL CHILDREN because of my size. I must go to a home with other dogs because I love, love, love to play with them. I am a little shy around humans but I do warm up fast.

I was surrendered by a backyard breeder with 9 other dogs. My coat was in poor shape but it's looking much better now. I will need regular grooming.

All adopters are required to fill out an adoption application, agree to have a home check and agree to release your vet records to the rescue for a vet check. If approved, you will have a meet n greet with the dog. Adoption fees vary on each dog. All our rescues are fully vetted according to age and deemed healthy.

We are a small no-kill rescue. We want to save the lives of innocent dogs, that have been abandoned, abused, or forced out of their homes, and provide quality medical care and place them into forever homes, and give them a second chance at life. SSCDR will also provide awareness of animal abuse and promoting the importance of being a responsible pet owner, socialization, vaccinating, spay/neuter, training, and good nutrition.
