My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5663032 Meet Raleigh , a 6-year-old pitbull mix who is as sweet as they come! This cuddly lovebug just wants to be where all the love is, and she’s ready to become your best friend. Sadly, Raleigh was used for breeding and then dumped, but now it’s her turn to be pampered and adored. She’s food motivated, making her super easy to train, and she’s quick to show her affection, making her just as easy to connect and bond with. Raleigh is truly gorgeous inside and out, with a beautiful tawny coat that demands pets and snuggles, as well as a gentle and loving personality that will melt your heart. She’s great with both people and other dogs, so she should fit right in with your family and could also be a perfect addition to a home with other pups. Ready to share your love with Raleigh? She’s waiting to be your new cuddle buddy!

  • 6 year old tan and white pitbull mix

  • 38 pound spayed female

  • Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, Raleigh picked up a little doggy cold at the shelter, which is already  being treated. To be safe, adopter will need to adopt on a health waiver, then follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 11/11/24 as a stray

  • super sweet girl, gets along with anybody at anytime

  • just wants to be where all the love is

  • clearly used for breeding and then dumped - it's this mama's turn to be loved and pampered!

  • cuddly cuddly lovebug - will quickly become your BFF

  •  gorgeous on both the outside and the inside

  • great with both people and other pups, so could make a great doggo sibling to any others in the home!

  • food motivated, which makes for easier training

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
