My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Affectionate - Cautious - Athletic ** Miracle is a purring princess, but she wasn't always so quick to show her love! You see, Miracle was a very fearful girl when she first arrived BUT she's has spent time in foster homes fine-tuning her housecat skills! She's always craved affection from humans and other cats, but didn't seem to know who was safe or how to ask for it. Over the last few months, she has met many safe, nurturing people and pets and is finally ready for a family of her own! Miracle has SO much love to give to the right person - someone that is happy to go at her pace, respect her boundaries, and commit to helping her adjust to her new life, one step at a time. Miracle also hopes that her new family will include at least one young feline friend for her to lean on and learn from! Once Miracle knows she's safe, she blossoms into the brightest young lady. She is an expert body flopper, head bopper, and wriggly roller! She loves food of all kinds, but her favorite pastime is zooming up, down, and all-around. She would love a home with plenty of places to climb and lots of fun toys and/or siblings to chase! Think Miracle could be the one? Check out more photos and videos from her time in foster on Instagram @roos.fosterfriends.

Miracle's adoption fee is $225. For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, grants, and our own fundraising to operate. We receive no federal, state, or government funding.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more.

CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand.

Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio.

Adoption discounts apply for adopting a pair of cats or kittens. For details about our adoption process, please visit: https://catadoptionteam.org/adopt/process-fees

More about this shelter

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with other shelters, rescue groups, and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. With the support of our CAT community, we help about 3,000 cats find new homes each year, plus offer low-cost spay/neuter and other services to support cats and their families. Thank you for visiting our site and helping us save lives!
