My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Violet, a youthful bundle of joy with a zest for life that is truly contagious. She`s a playful spirit, always ready to engage in a fun game of fetch or tug-of-war. But don`t let her energy fool you, Violet is also incredibly smart. She loves to learn new tricks and commands, often surprising everyone with her quick understanding. After a day of play and learning, Violet turns into the cuddliest companion. She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you, offering her warmth and companionship. Her playful, smart, and cuddly nature makes Violet the perfect addition to any home. She`s ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to her forever family. So, why adopt Violet? Because she`s more than just a pet, she`s a friend for life, a beacon of happiness, and a constant reminder of the simple joys in life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
