Meet Biscuit, a tender-hearted 1.5-year-old terrier mix whose life has been overshadowed by profound sorrow. Once filled with hope, her journey took a heartbreaking turn when she gave birth to five puppies in the shelter 💔 Tragically, one by one, she lost them all to parvo, leaving her with an aching emptiness that still lingers in her heart. The pain of that loss has left an indelible mark on her spirit, making each day a struggle as she copes with the overwhelming grief.
Biscuit's days at the rescue are filled with a quiet sadness. She watches other dogs find families while she remains behind, longing for the love and security she so desperately needs. Biscuit has struggled to find her place in the world. Her gentle, loving demeanor often hides the sadness that lingers in her heart. She yearns for a quiet, peaceful environment where she can feel safe and loved again, but the reality of her current situation leaves her feeling isolated and alone.
Biscuit is a sweet girl who craves companionship. She finds solace in snuggling on the couch, seeking warmth and connection with her person. Yet, despite her longing for closeness, she carries the weight of her grief, making it difficult for her to fully trust again. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
