Hello, I'm Jasper. I'm a cat who loves to show affection. I have a soft spot for cuddles and will happily curl up in your lap for a warm nap. I'm mellow and sweet, making me a great companion for those quiet, cozy evenings. But don't let my calm demeanor fool you, I can be quite playful when the mood strikes. I'm also smart, and I love a good challenge. I can figure out puzzles and games with ease, which can provide endless entertainment. I'm also very loyal and friendly. I love to be around people and I'm always eager to make new friends. I would love to find a home where I can be a cherished member of the family. Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
