My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT ***

Meet Anne! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'peek-a-boo' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent.

Anne came to us from another Wyoming shelter, where she was being overlooked. We aren't sure why, because she is a smart, happy, and loving dog. Her handler says she loves to play hard and fast. She's good with other dogs, but some may not like her rough and tumble play style. She'll need to meet any potential new siblings beforehand.

She has been known to chase cats in a previous home, so she cannot go to a house with cats. She doesn't particularly like children either, so a home without young children is a must.

Anne seems to be completely house trained & does fairly well in a kennel.

One quirk Anne has is eye contact.. she doesn't like direct eye contact when you first meet her. This is normal for most dogs though. If you go slow and let Anne approach you, without making firect eye contract she does a lot better.

Anne really does deserve a home to call her own, as she's been let down before. If you know how to play tug of war, or can throw a ball for her to fetch, she may be your new best friend. She'll graduate in mid-January, apply to meet her today!
