My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mitch’s homeless mother gave birth in a vacant apartment at the complex where she was abandoned. Once the maintenance staff saw the kittens Mom moved them to a hillside covered in ivy. It took almost 2 weeks for dedicated volunteers to find the kittens. By that time they were not in the best of health. Paw Project took them in and provided fosters, veterinarian care, and good food. Mitch has grown into a super energetic boy full of life and love. Mitch would love to meet you and fill your house and heart with his wonderful personality.

Mitch is negative for FIV/FeLV, up to date on vaccines (for his age), microchipped, neutered and up to date on flea/heartworm prevention.

If you would like to meet Mitch, please complete our on-line cat questionnaire at the following web address:

Email it to adoptions@pawprojectofgeorgia.org. We will review the questionnaire and get back to you.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit organization in Gwinnett County, Georgia. We have a low-cost vet clinic (not full service), spay/neuter ,a TNR Program, and a Rescue/Adopt Program.

We started this organization because we love animals and want to be the voice for those who have no voice, and also help pet retention in homes by offering affordable veterinary care.

We would love to have volunteers to help with in-home fostering (some for two week quarantines, others to keep cats/dogs until they are adopted), cleaning, adoption events, Trapping cats for TNR, recovering female feral cats after surgery, and many other things.
