Let’s give a warm welcome to Yelena! She is a three-year-old mix, weighing in at 53 pounds. She has a couple adorable distinguishing marks so you’ll know and definitely remember her if you bump into her on a walk: her right ear is tan and she has an expressive eyebrow on her mostly white fur. How cute! She’s cute and smart - this sweet girl is already house-trained! Her foster raves about her and loves everything about her, especially her happy tail and how she is so well-behaved. Come meet her and see for yourself - we know you’ll fall in love with everything about her, too!

Fill out our adoption application at heartsandbonesrescue.org and our adoption team will be in touch about next steps within a few days.

Meet the Pet

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
