In fostering this good looking fellow, he has proven to be well mannered and sweet with definite signs of significant training in his past.
With some additional training, he would make an excellent Therapy Dog.
He is smart and curious, with a gentle nature.
He is accustomed to bathing and tooth care.
He has impeccable manners at meal-time. No impatient behaviors.
He walks well on leash and has observed other wildlife with curiosity, but does not bark or pull his lead. Prefers natural surfaces.
He seems to have a fondness for children.
Loud noises and traffic do not bother him. (?!)
Vocalized only once and that was protection-mode inside the house.
Crate-trained, but not a fan after all he has been through. Will enter, just prefers company right now. Sleeps in, with door open.
Working on “down”, because he wants to greet you at eye-level. (It’s adorable, though.)
Gentle and thorough massages accepted as long as you can give them!
He is a very Good Boy who needs a safe yard to run in, a bit more training and lots of attention…)
Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
