My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet St. Nick, a young dog brimming with joy and energy. His playful spirit is infectious, making even the dreariest days feel like a fun-filled adventure. A game of fetch or a simple tug-of-war is his idea of a perfect day. But it`s not all play for St. Nick. He loves nothing more than to cuddle up close, his friendly nature shining through with every wag of his tail. His loyalty is unwavering, his companionship is comforting, and his love is boundless. Adopting St. Nick isn`t just about giving a dog a home, it`s about inviting a burst of happiness into your life.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
