My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy, a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Her sweet nature shines through in her soft purrs and gentle nudges, making her the perfect companion for quiet moments. Lucy is a little shy, but don`t let that fool you. Given time, she warms up to new people and environments, revealing her friendly side. She enjoys the simple things in life, like lounging around and receiving affection from her human friends. Lucy has a unique ability to sense when you`re feeling down and will be right there to provide comfort. Despite her shyness, she loves to be part of a family. She`s looking for a forever home where she can share her love and sweetness. If you`re seeking a loyal, loving, and comforting companion, Lucy could be the perfect addition to your family. Adopt Lucy and let her fill your home with love and tranquility.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
