My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AIDEN's owner brought him home as a puppy and kept him on a chain his whole life. We were able to bring him into our group a few months ago. Since then he has blossomed! He cannot believe he can run and play to his heart's content. He was a little afraid of toys at first, but now he LOVES to play fetch. He is kennel trained and is very happy in his big, 54" kennel with his own window to look out of.

We are introducing him to other dogs now and he is learning how to play and be a dog.

Although Aiden's major breed is a Plott Hound (a large dog), Aiden is 45 pounds and full grown. He has several other hound breeds in him as well.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application to complete and return. Our review process generally takes 1-2 days. More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.
