My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is one of four angels rescued from a bad situation and ready to live the life he deserves! All lived their entire lives on a chain, and a very heavy one at that. No one deserves that. Especially not these sweet souls. They are all very sweet, very loving and very forgiving. If only humans could be more like dogs, the world would be a better place!

Beau is a gentle soul who need a home of his own. A home filled with love and without chains. A warm bed instead of the cold ground. And a place where they can feel safe and secure. Beau is a 10 year old, 48 lb hound mix with a stubby tail that never stops wagging. He is neutered and UTD on vaccinations and preventatives. Unfortunately Beau tested positive for heartworm but has already started treatment with all vet costs for treatment covered by AC ARF.

We REALLY need to find a foster or an adopter for charming Beau as soon as possible! He is currently in boarding and needs a home where he can finally learn what it’s like to have a family. Where he can learn how to be an inside dog. Where he can find himself and blossom!

Please message us or contact Katrina at 865-414-2491 to learn more and/or to set up a meeting with Beau.

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption, all animals are up to date on vaccinations and tests, and are spay/neutered, age dependent. Anderson County Animal Rescue Foundation also facilitates adoptions for animals available through other animal rescues and shelters we work with. Each has their own adoption process and forms, but all are similar.

Go meet their pets

We do not have a physical facility and available animals posted may be in different locations. If you are interested in meeting one of the pets we post, please send an email with your contact phone number and we will be happy to facilitate and arrange a convenient meeting place, date and time.
