My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Zorro! 🐾

Hi there! I’m Zorro, a super sweet 5-month-old pup who’s all about good vibes, belly rubs, and hanging out with my favorite humans.

A Little About Me:
🐶 Easygoing & Chill: My foster mom says out of 40+ dogs she’s cared for, I’m one of the most relaxed and easygoing pups she’s had.
🐾 Dog-Friendly: I play great with other dogs and enjoy their company.
🐱 Learning About Cats: I’m curious about them and getting better every day—I just need to remember they don’t always want to play!
❤️ People are My Favorite: I love spending time with my humans—whether we’re playing or just chilling out together.

I’m neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on a regular flea/tick and deworming schedule. While my breed mix my brother looked like a Great Pyrenees mix so maybe I am too? It is anyone’s guess, one thing’s for sure: I’m 100% lovable (and we don't think I'll be as big as a GP)!

Special Holiday Adoption Fee! 🎉
Thanks to a generous donor, I’m part of the Home for the Holidays campaign, and my adoption fee has been reduced to $250!

Additional adoption info

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.

Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.

During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.

Due to the effort we put into our puppies & dogs prior to adoption, we do require all applicants to enroll in a puppy or basic obedience class with a positive reinforcement trainer. Proof of enrollment will be required before the puppy/dog will be sent home.
