My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boone!

Boone is a year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart as golden as his coat. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion, Boone is your perfect match! He’s bursting with puppy energy and thrives on daily playtime and adventures. Boone is friendly, cuddly, and loves being around people and other dogs. His sweet, submissive nature makes him a great playmate for canine siblings.

Boone is curious about cats, which sometimes leads to playful chases, so a cat-free home may be best unless your cat enjoys an energetic pup. He is currently learning basic commands like sit, stay, and down, and he’s food-motivated, making training a fun experience. Boone also does well with kennel time for naps, meals, and bedtime — just add a treat, and he’ll settle right in.

Boone is ready to share his endless love and joy with a forever family. Could that be you?

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
