My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you're interested in adopting, please start by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button above.

Say hello to Tappan! This lovely lady is in her senior years but is still spry and loves to run! Tappan is well behaved on leash, potty trained, and generally has good manners. Sometimes she'll say hello with a soft mouthing of your arm, if she really likes you. Tappan lived with two dogs in her previous home and got along well with them, so far at C.A.R.E. she seems to prefer dogs that are willing to respect her boundaries. Tappan is a very sweet and loving dog, but does not enjoy the company of pesky little kids. Teenagers and older are more her speed! If Tappan sounds like a good fit for your home then submit an adoption survey and/or give C.A.R.E. a call to meet her today!
