My story

My name is Sunny and I am a really great young 18 month old 60 pound Lab mix boy that was brought in to a Tennessee shelter as a stray. We look at this handsome Lab boy and wonder how anyone could have raised him and then let him go and not come find him!!! He is happy and fun and loving and great with other dogs and all the people he meets. He has energy and so he is not a dog for seniors to easily raise him. He is a dog with life, high stepping legs and a spirit of adventure. He needs a fenced yard, an owner who will take him jogging, hiking, on adventures that stimulate his mind and his body. He would be great with children, other dogs, active adults and someone who will teach him manners and commands. He is a great dog to take out on walks where he can meet people and make a great impression. We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home?
