And now, a few words from me:

I’m just your average rags to riches story. I found myself in a rescue that neutered me, gave me shots and promised that I would find a great home. Next thing you know, I’m on a plane to Canada. It took me a minute to get used to all the new people and pets, but I feel like I have the hang of things now. I’ve mapped out the perfect spot on the couch (between two humans) the best pet bed for night time, and the best stuffed toy to carry around. The only thing that could make it better would be toto find my forever home!

And now, a few words from my foster mom:

Baxter can be very cautious at first when he meets new people or enters new spaces, but once he feels safe he is extremely friendly and affectionate. He loves playing and exploring. He loves a game of fetch, carrying around stuffies, and snuggling on the couch. He is a very smart pup, and learns commands/rules very quickly .

Baxter likes to be with his favourite humans, and is pretty much my shadow indoors, but outdoors he is a bit of a wanderer. His recall is and he is just as responsive to praise and affection as he is to treats. He is good with other dogs and cats but is much more interested in human attention and would do well either as the only dog or with another well adjusted dog. Baxter rarely barks, but will vocalize when someone is at the door, or if he hears voices outside of the yard. He’s friendly and affectionate with kids, but still has busy puppy energy so he is still learning to be gentle. He spends his day snuggled up under the desk on my partner's feet and is an excellent work-from-home buddy.
