Meet Daisy!
Breed: Pointer - Mixed Breed
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 60 lbs
Good with: Dogs, Cats & Kids
Personality: Calm & composed with a playful side
Potty Trained: Yes, once shown the appropriate place to go.
Crate Trained: Yes
Backstory: Daisy was an owner surrender from Oklahoma. Her previous owners had numerous dogs and limited resources to care for them, leaving Daisy in very poor condition. When they took her to the shelter seeking medical care, they were informed of her critical state. After learning how severe her condition was, they made the difficult decision to relinquish her so she could receive the care she needed to survive. Today, Daisy is a happy, healthy girl who has adjusted seamlessly to her foster home. She has shown to be cautious when meeting men and will require some extra patience in order to feel comfortable when meeting them. She would make a wonderful addition to a family with children, as she was very much loved by the two young kids in her previous home, with whom she grew up. Daisy gently takes treats, enjoys lounging on the couch or her dog bed, walks well on a leash and rarely barks. She takes a couple days to let her guard down enough to play with new dogs. Once she’s comfortable, she is happy to romp around with her friends, but also enjoys a good lazy day. Lounging outside is her jam, especially when the weather is nice!
Daisy is UTD on vaccines, spayed and takes monthly preventatives.
