My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wink, an adorable kitten who may have only one eye, but he’s a sight to behold with his unique look and charming personality. Wink is a beautiful boy with a playful spirit that shines through, especially when he’s enjoying time with his brother, Blink. These two are a bonded pair and would love to be adopted together. They love to play with toys, chase each other around, and share their little adventures. Wink is an absolute joy to watch!

Though he’s a bit shy around people, Wink is just taking his time to adjust. He may walk away when first touched, but with a little patience and love, he’ll start to trust you and reveal the affectionate side we know is inside him. He’s a kitten who needs a quiet, patient home where he can feel safe and secure.

Wink is looking for a family who will let him grow at his own pace, and in return, he will bring so much joy to your life. His ideal home would be one where he and Blink can continue their playful bond. These two are inseparable!
If you’re ready to offer Wink and Blink the loving home they deserve, they’ll be waiting to join your family and grow into the confident, affectionate kitties they’re meant to be!

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
