My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Joy! We were able to save Joy from the euthanasia list a few months ago thanks to an amazing foster for stepping up for her. Joy is around 70lb, 2 years old, has completed heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption!

Here is what Joy’s foster has to say about her:
“Joy is the sweetest doggy. When she first came to us she was very shy. She has come out of her shell and now shows much more confidence. For the most part, Joy is very dog friendly (we just ask for slow intros.) She loves to play with all size dogs.

Joy is crate trained, but while we are gone she stays in my daughter’s room and free roams. She is potty trained and has not had one accident inside the house. Joy is very food motivated so please be careful with your counters because she will counter surf. She is great on the leash and enjoys walks in the park! She loves to sit outside and look out for squirrels…it is so funny! Joy is pure love and such a peaceful dog. If the resident doggy is low energy then she will be low energy and if the resident doggy is high energy then she will be high energy, she adapts. Joy will bring you exactly what you need in life, Joy.”
