Scramble and Omelette are super energetic and playful kittens who are either napping or zipping around chasing each other and exploring their surroundings. They love cat tunnels, strings, bells, and feather toys, always ready to keep you entertained with their endless kitten energy. These two are incredibly sweet and affectionate, often snuggling together and starting to warm up to lap time. The Torbie has an adorable habit of lying upside-down, and both meow for each other when separated. Perfect companions, Scramble and Omelet are a delightful mix of cuddly and active, guaranteed to bring joy and fun to any home.

We have worked hard to make our adoption process as easy as possible. We like to think of the process in four steps: application, phone conversation, meet and greet and adoption day. We will get back to applicants within a few days even if they were not chosen.

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
