My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Weaver is a playful pup with lots of energy. He loves to go to the play yard and play ball and run around. He can get a bit mouthy when he gets over stimulated but has never been aggressive. He seems to be dog friendly and a dog test will be required. We believe he is either a Husky/Akita mix or a white Akita. We are unsure of him with cats and due to his possible breed we strongly suggest using extreme caution as he could have a strong prey drive. He walks well on leash and knows some basic commands as well. He would do best in an active family that will take him on adventures to help with his high energy and to keep him engaged with various activities. We feel he would do well with kids that are older as his size and energy level could get the littles knocked over on accident. We do want the kiddos to come to the meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.Interested in adopting? Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. We do our best to review applications within 24 hours. You will be notified when your application has been approved.
Our adoption fees are $85 for cats and $140 for dogs. All of our animals will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX/ Fiv-Felv tested and UTD on all age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.

The Humane Society of Warren County is located at 1245 Progress Dr. Front Royal, VA. We are open Thursday-Tuesday from 10:00-4:00 for adoptions. We are closed to the public on Wednesdays for deep cleaning.
